Afterparty Releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Next Month

Prepare to outdrink Satan in Afterparty next month on October 29.

Over a year after originally being announced, Night School Studio, the team behind the beloved Oxenfree, has revealed when fans will be able to get their hands on the studio’s follow up, Afterparty.

Afterparty is set to officially launch next month on October 29 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store, Night School announced today. The game will retail for $19.99 across all platforms. Additionally, it’ll be arriving on Xbox Game Pass the same day as it releases for those subscribed to Microsoft’s service.

Afterparty follows characters Milo and Lola, both of who find themselves trapped in Hell. With the goal of trying to get out of the afterlife and return to Earth, the two friends set out to find the Devil who can grant them their desire. In order to achieve this though, they’ll have to outdrink Satan, which is no easy task.

We previewed Afterparty earlier this year at PAX East and found it to be a ton of fun based on the small glimpse that we saw. Similarly to OxenfreeAfterparty will be a game that presents you with plenty of decisions to make, each of which will have an outcome on your story. These choices will also affect the relationships that you have throughout the game, as well. If you like the way in which Oxenfree played, Afterparty will have a lot of that same DNA.

Keep an eye out for our review of Afterparty here on DualShockers next month near release.
