While the mode is set to go live tomorrow, Treyarch has begun teasing the new Pandemic mode for Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode.,
Early last week, fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 got a tease of what’s to come during the next half-season for the game, which is set to go live tomorrow. Now, fans are getting even more as Treyarch has teased Pandemic mode in a new video on its official Twitter account and it looks like exactly what we were promised.
The video itself doesn’t show a lot as it’s a teaser, but it does show a zombie rising from the ground before shifting to the perspective of the zombie, teasing that you’ll be able to play as them. If that shot looked familiar to you, it should if you’re a Black Ops fan. Back in the Black Ops 2 days, there was a DLC mode for the game called Turned, which allowed you to put yourselves in the shoes of the zombies for the first time, using your arms as weapons. While this won’t be the exact same thing, it’s cool to see that concept return. If you want to check out the video for yourself, you can find it at the end of the article.
Pandemic is set to be a battle royale take on the classic Infected mode found in the normal multiplayer. In it, 80 players will fight to be the last survivors on Earth. This mode, and others highlighted here, will go live tomorrow when the game’s next half-season goes live.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
