Capcom continues to build hype towards the release of Resident Evil 3 in a pretty fun way.
With Resident Evil 3 remake set to release in a little bit over a month, Capcom has decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a rather goofy way this year.
Ironically referring to today’s holiday as “Jill Valentine’s Day” after the titular protagonist of RE3, Capcom has released a handful of Valentine’s cards that feature characters from the game. The art of these cards, which comes by way of Plum Jewanarom, is quite cute and gives us cartoonish looks at Jill, Carlos, Nikolai, and, of course, Nemesis. Each come stamped with a tacky message that you would normally find on Valentine’s cards, too.

Personally, I love the card featuring Nemesis the most, because of course I do. It also makes me wonder if all Nemesis has wanted all along is just to be loved. Perhaps that’s why he’s stalking Jill throughout all of Resident Evil 3: he just has a crush on her. If Jill just stopped shooting at Nemesis for five minutes, maybe she would realize that Nemesis is actually a big softie and just wants to give her a hug. Really makes you think, huh?
You can find all of the RE3-themed Valentine’s Day cards attached at the bottom of the page. Send one to your crush, if you feel so bold.
As for Resident Evil 3 remake, the game is set to hit store shelves on April 3, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
