Watch out Hideo Kojima and Death Stranding, Disney Tsum Tsum Festival will also be releasing on November 8, 2019.
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival was one of the weirder announcements in February’s Nintendo Direct. The latest game from Bandai Namco Entertainment and Disney’s partnership, it is a minigame collection based on the popular line of oddly shaped tsum tsum toys that, for the life of me, I do not understand the appeal of. Today, we learned that the game will be releasing in North America on November 8, the same day that another title that you may have heard of arrives: Death Stranding.
That’s not to say that Death Stranding should be the only game that releases on Friday in November, but I find way too much novelty in the fact that the radically different Disney Tsum Tsum Festival and Death Stranding will be hitting store shelves at the same time. Who will win in this deathmatch for the ages: a title that has the potential to push the boundaries of the gaming as we know it, or Death Stranding?
Even though Disney Tsum Tsum Festival isn’t even on PS4, it still has some competition on Nintendo Switch. Not only will a port of Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire’s Conspiracy release on the hybrid console that day, but Super Lucky’s Tale will come out as well. Death Stranding will obviously dominate November 8, but it is worth noting that the Nintendo Switch will be putting up a fight that day.
If you want to see the trailer revealing the release date for this Death Stranding killer, you can check it out below. Death Stranding and the clearly superior Disney Tsum Tsum Festival release on November 8 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, respectively.
