The artwork for the DOOM Eternal Collector’s Edition SteelBook case gets a closer look by Bethesda, and looks as brilliant as the game itself.
As one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the holiday season–and the winner of our own E3 2019 awards for Game of the Show—DOOM Eternal is on the horizon and set to bring players back to hell in a striking way. Of course, if that wasn’t clear enough from the game itself, the gorgeous artwork for the game’s Collector’s Edition SteelBook is sure to bring that point home.
Bethesda Softworks has released a closer look at the cover art that will adorn the SteelBook case in the DOOM Eternal Collector’s Edition, which comes by way of Mondo and artist Gabz. Given that the Collector’s Edition already comes with a wearable Doom Slayer helmet, the artwork for the SteelBook case just seems like the icing on the cake. In case you can’t tell, it’s pretty damn gorgeous and captures the energy and tone of DOOM Eternal in a striking way, and you can check it out in all its bloody glory down below.
After having gotten to play the game for ourselves at E3 2019, it’s safe to say so far that DOOM Eternal is looking like a worthy successor to the acclaimed 2016 DOOM, and with the game’s release coming later this year, we won’t have that much longer to wait to dive back into hell.
DOOM Eternal will release for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia on November 22, 2019, and there’s still plenty of time to pre-order the game now over on Amazon.
