The Action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will let players control other characters besides Goku, such as Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo.
Bandai Namco revealed slightly more on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, most notably answering a question everyone is asking themselves. While the game is focused and named after Goku, will we get to control other characters as well? The answer is yes, as Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta have all been confirmed to be playable. For now, it’s unclear if more characters will turn out to be playable or if we’ll only get these 3 plus Goku.
Other characters have also been confirmed to make an appearance as “Support” characters. Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu have been confirmed to be Support characters. These characters can be called to help by the player by using certain button combinations. Each Support character has different abilities, and Yamcha’s for example, is “Provocation”, which makes the enemy targets him instead of the player.
