Square Enix has confirmed that Dragon Quest Builders 2 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch has sold 1.1 million copies.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 released in Japan back in December and in the rest of the world just last month, and it has already found great success. Square Enix confirmed today that the PS4 and Nintendo Switch game has already passed 1.1 million copies sold worldwide. To celebrate, the developers released the following video revealing the number of copies sold on Dragon Quest’s official social media accounts:

This sales milestone came at a fitting time too, as a large new piece of DLC was just released. Titled the Modernist Pack, the DLC contains recipes for over 70 modern looking items, including new hairstyles, clothing, and furniture. Square Enix recommends players build things like hotels or condominiums with the new materials. While the Japanese version of the game will be getting its last major update later this month, this DLC indicates that players in the rest of the world can rely on Dragon Quest Builders 2’s post launch support for the next couple of months.
