Hearthstone’s latest solo adventure Tombs of Terror will launch on 17th September and players can pre-purchase it now. The first chapter will be out later this month whilst the other 4 chapters will follow on a weekly basis.
The adventure will see players team up with Reno Jackson, Elise Starseeker, Sir Finley and Brann Bronzebeard once again to take on Rafaam. This time around though they’ll be dual-class heroes for the first time in Hearthstone which means you’ll be able to try out synergies players have only ever theory crafted.
You’ll be taking on the Plague Lords as the final bosses of each chapter in this expansion. They’ll be tough opponents that have a gigantic health pool. So much so that it won’t be possible to beat them in one attempt. But their health will remain how you left them each time so you’ll be able to slowly whittle them down over multiple runs.
Your rewards for completing Tombs of Terror will total three Saviors of Uldum packs for each final boss defeated – so 15 packs in total – as well as a unique card back and a gold classic pack if you beat everything on both normal and heroic.
The first chapter will be available for free for everyone to play whilst the rest will have to be purchased with either in-game gold or real money. They can be purchased in a bundle altogether for $14.99 to save a bit of cash or if you fancy a random legendary from the latest expansion as well as a new card back then you can pick up the deluxe edition for $19.99.
