Here Are the Best PS4 Announcements from Sony’s State of Play

Here are all of the coolest announcements from Sony’s final State of Play for 2019, including Resident Evil 3.

Sony’s final State of Play for 2019 featured several new and interesting trailers, some of which are brand new announcements. The show took place quite early and went by quite fast, but we have rounded up the coolest announcements for you in case you missed it.

Untitled Goose Game is Coming to PS4 Next Week

The show kicked off with the announcement of a release date for the PS4 version of Untitled Goose Game. It will be out for PS4 on December 17.

Spellbreak is a New Magical Battle Royale Game

A magical battle royale game called Spellbreak was also shown off during State of Play. It seems to be very exhilarating, though it remains to be seen if Proletariat’s battle royale will be able to break into the crowded genre. We will be able to play Spellbreak’s Closed Beta in Spring 2020.

Dreams Leaves Early Access February 14, 2020

Dreams got a new trailer during State of Play and we learned, which also revealed that it will be exiting early access on February 14, 2020.

Superliminal Comes to PS4 in 2020

Mind-bending puzzle game Superliminal will come to PS4 in 2020.

Paper Beast Releases in Q1 2020

Another World and From Dust’s creator showed off Paper Beast, an intriguing new game for PlayStation VR. It will release in Q1 2020.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind Trailer Gets Officially Released

Last week, a trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3’s DLC was posted early, showcasing new playable characters and some Final Fantasy additions. The trailer was officially shown off during State of Play. Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind will come out on January 23, 2020.

Predator: Hunting Grounds Comes Out in April 2020

We then got a new gameplay trailer for Sony’s upcoming multiplayer Predator game, Predator: Hunting Grounds. We also learned that it will release on April 24, 2020.

Babylon’s Fall Returns, More Information Next Summer

After a year and a half of silence, Square Enix and PlatinumGames finally showed off Bablyon’s Fall once more. It seems to be pretty on-brand when it comes to PlatinumGames action, though it does have a cool fantasy setting. Its visuals have also been created with a “Brushwork Filter.” We will apparently get more information on the game in Summer 2020.

Following leaks earlier this month, Capcom has officially unveiled a remake of Resident Evil 3. It also comes with Project Resistance, now officially called Resident Evil Resistance. Resident Evil 3 will release for PS4 on April 3, 2020.

Ghost of Tsushima Reemerges With an Awesome Teaser

Sony capped off this State of Play with a brand new trailer for Ghost of Tsushima. It’s quite short and doesn’t show much, but we learned that we will see more at The Game Awards later this week.
