Conan O’Brien appears in Death Stranding as “The Wondering MC”. Conan is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita in the Japanese dub.
Hideo Kojima officially revealed on Twitter that Conan O’Brien is one of the cameos of Death Stranding. Conan’s character is “The Wondering MC”, and players connecting with him will be able to obtain a Sea Otter suit for better swimming capabilities.
Conan O’Brien appears as a prepper “The Wondering MC” in DS. You get “Sea Otter Suit” when you get connected with him. With this suit, you’ll be able to swim easily in the river, you won’t be drifted away! BB would be happy as well. 👍🌈🦀☔️🐟🐋🐬💀👶✋🤩😍 pic.twitter.com/nIsw5JS5t0

This isn’t really surprising seeing Conan O’Brien is one of the many personalities who paid Kojima Productions a visit during Death Stranding‘s development.
Over on his Japanese Twitter, Kojima revealed “The Wandering MC” is the character voiced by Tomokazu Sugita in the Japanese dub. I’m personally still hoping that Yūichi Nakamura is in too.
The most Japan x Conan O’Brien thing that happened before him getting in Death Stranding was back in 2018 when he called Detective Conan a ripoff of himself. Which led to a Conan O’Brien and Detective Conan meeting at “Conan Town” Hokuei to make peace.
Death Stranding is launching on November 8 on PS4. The review embargo for the game is getting lifted on November 1, but our own review will be coming sometime after the game’s release. Be careful as spoilers are out in the wild. Just like Die-Hardman said, if you wanna be sure to avoid spoilers, I’d personally recommend simply logging off from all social media and YouTube. Taking a break from all this stuff is a good thing.
