Journey originally launched on the PlayStation 3 back in 2012 and it went on to receive a swell of positive reviews, including a 10 out of 10 from DualShockers. Following its release, composer Austin Wintory received a Grammy nomination for his work on the game, which made him one of the very few artists nominated for a video game score. Additionally, Journey launched on the PlayStation 4 back in 2015.
According to Apple Insider, the game went onto garner over 100 game of the year awards, including two Guinness World Records for “The Most Awards won by an independent game” and “Most Critically Acclaimed Art House Game on PS4.” Not a bad list of accomplishments for a game as fantastic as Journey.
