Hunt ghosts with Luigi and Gooigi this Halloween.
Today, Nintendo announced the release date for Luigi’s Mansion 3 along with a short new video. The game is set to launch on October 31, 2019, otherwise known as Halloween. This debunks the recent rumors that the game would be receiving an early October release.
This date is not all that surprising with us knowing that the game was going to come out by the end of the year. Even though previous entries in the franchise didn’t come out in October it still makes a lot of sense to release in this month with it being a game of capturing ghosts.
With the release date of Luigi’s Mansion 3, we now have dates for all the first-party Switch titles through the end of the year.
I got my hands on Luigi’s Mansion 3 at E3 last month. It ended up being one of the most fun demos I got to play throughout the week and now is one of my most anticipated titles this year. The new entry has new mechanics, intricate puzzles, and it looks oh so charming. We also cannot forget about Gooigi, Luigi’s new partner in the game that you will either control yourself as Luigi or someone can control themselves in co-op mode.
In this new entry of the Luigi’s Mansion franchise Luigi, Mario, and Co. are invited to an extravagant hotel, but after Luigi’s friends are in trouble he must come to their rescue.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. You can pre-order it on Amazon right now. Below you can watch the release date video for the game. Be sure to keep an eye out for our review after launch.
