The developers at Sabotage Studio aren’t the only people excited about the partnership. Mitsuda-san expresses his interest in Sea of Stars and applauding Sabotage Studio’s past work which integrates both classic and modern game design.

Mitsuda-san is not the only composer working on Sea of Stars. Rainbowdragoneyes, the person behind The Messenger‘s brilliant soundtrack, will also be lending his expertise.
Sea of Stars is inspired by RPGs from the 90s like Chrono Trigger. It features turn-based combat, a fully-explorable world, six playable characters, and a day/night cycle. The isn’t a specific launch date, but it is slated to launch sometime in 2022. We got to take a closer look at the upcoming title where Managing Editor Logan Moore said, “If there is one thing above all else that I came away impressed by after getting a deeper look at Sea of Stars, it’s just how polished the game already is.”
Personally, I am super excited about Sea of Stars. Not because I’m a big JRPG fan, but because Sabotage Studio’s first game was so good. The Messenger is not just one of my favorite games of the generation; it is an all-time favorite of mine. So, just about anything they release I will be very excited for.
