Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is Receiving Another Beta for PS4 and Xbox One

Track and hunt down monsters in the latest Monster Hunter World: Iceborne beta for PS4 and Xbox One.

The upcoming expansion for Monster Hunter World releases in less than two weeks on September 6, but that isn’t stopping Capcom to release a beta mere days before its launch. In the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne beta, players can try and hunt the legendary elder dragon Velkhana. There will also be three other hunts available that span different skill levels from novices to experts.

Unlike the first beta in June, both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to partake. It is worth mentioning however that the beta on each platform will take place on different dates. The PS4 beta will begin on August 30 at 12 am PST until September 1 at 11:59 pm PST. The Xbox One beta will begin immediately after on September 2 at 12 am PST to September 5 at 11:59 pm PST.

Players that complete the Iceborne beta will receive a commendation pack once the full version comes out. Make note that to participate in the bet you must have a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live subscription.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will launch on September 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The expansion will cost players $39.99 who already own the base game. PC gamers do not fret, Iceborne is on its way to you as well, but you’re going to have to wait a bit longer. If you are a new player jumping in you can currently pre-order the title on Amazon for $10 off. There is also the Master Edition Deluxe version that includes exclusive in-game items as well as a beautiful looking steelbook.
