Leading up to its December release date, CD Projekt Red has released a new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer that gears players up.
During CD Projekt Red’s latest Night City Wire stream, we got a new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer that shows off a ton of footage leading up to its December release. You can watch the new trailer below.
At over five minutes, we get an idea of its story. Set in the year 2077, society has been fractured into multiple sections and Night City is the hottest spot around. You play as a gun-for-hire mercenary that’s searching for a cyber implant that grants immortality. That just scratches the surface of the story but the trailer shows off different factions you can swear allegiance to, characters to meet, and more. We also get a look at the different customization options, fashion, vehicles, and locations you can explore.
Today’s Night City Wire was the last stream before the game releases next month. In addition to the new gameplay trailer, we also got new looks at Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand. Across two new videos, Reeves shares what drew him to the character, what it was like being Silverhand, and how his character factors in the story. Another Night City Wire stream from this past Tuesday showed off what the game looks like on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. CD Projekt Red has confirmed they’ll show off gameplay footage of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions before launch. We’ve also received details on the physical editions and how the game will come in two discs.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on December 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC. The game is available for preorder on Amazon now. You can also play it on Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 and get the next-gen upgrade for free. As more news comes out about the game, we’ll be sure to let you know.
