Pikuniku From Devolver Digital Is 99 Cents Currently on the Nintendo Switch eShop

Pikuniku is super cheap right now.

You might recall publisher Devolver Digital announcing a surreal looking puzzler Pikuniku featuring a range of colorful characters that reside in a vibrant world. Well, that game is currently on sale on the Nintendo Switch eShop with a whopping 92% off its original price.

The deal looks to be a Switch exclusive, with the US eShop selling it for 99 cents, and in the UK it’s 89p. Other digital storefronts, such as Steam still show the game at its full price.

The eShop version appears to just be the standard version of Pikunikuwhile a Collector’s Edition is available on Steam as DLC. It includes a digital comic book and the OST but does require the base game to access it. So if you’re only wanting this for the game and you have a Nintendo Switch, this is a fantastic deal.

Developed by Sectordub, the cute ‘n’ weird title finds players trying to help their characters overcome various struggles they’re faced with across the world. There’s also a lingering conspiracy and a revolution in what the developers describe the game to be a dystopian adventure. Pikuniku allows players to explore the world at their own pace while helping creatures fulfill their requests. The campaign is roughly 4-5 hours long and there’s a cooperative mode available for those that want to team up in local multiplayer.

As for other deals on the eShop, Drawful 2 is available for $0.09 at 99% off. A range of Final Fantasy titles are also on sale, such as Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and more. There’s also Octopath Traveller for $29.99 and Cities Skylines at $9.99.

These deals seem to come at a time we need them the most as most of the world goes into lockdown in an attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19. What deals are you planning on nabbing from the eShop? Get chatty in the comments.
