DOOM Eternal is set to be the focus at QuakeCon this upcoming weekend.
While it seems like E3 2019 only just happened yesterday, it’s already time for this summer’s next big gaming convention in QuakeCon. This year’s edition of the annualized show, which has been redubbed as “DoomCon” to celebrate the ongoing “Year of DOOM“, is set to kick off this Friday. As of now, we know more of what to expect once it starts.
Bethesda recently announced what will be on tap for this weekend’s convention in Texas and in the process talked more about what fans can expect to see. Starting on Friday, July 26 at 12pm EST/9am PST, the QuakeCon 2019 keynote will begin. While full details on what will be divulged in this address haven’t been given, Bethesda has stated that this year’s upcoming release of DOOM Eternal will be highlighted. More specifically, we can also expect to see some gameplay footage of the game’s new multiplayer offering called BATTLEMODE.

While DOOM Eternal will likely be the main thing discussed during the opening keynote, Bethesda has a lot of other panels slated to take place over the course of the weekend dedicated to their other published titles. On Saturday, July 27, there will be three panels dedicated to Fallout 76, DOOM Eternal, and The Elder Scrolls: Online that are slated to transpire one after the other from 11am EST until 4pm EST. The weekend will also be filled with other gaming tournaments, speed runs, and plenty of other activities to entertain you.
