Return of the Obra Dinn Comes to Consoles in Two Weeks and I Demand That You Play It

One of the best games of 2018, Return of the Obra Dinn, finally lands on all console platforms on October 18.

After announcing that Return of the Obra Dinn would be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch last month, the stellar puzzle game now officially has a release date for all three platforms and it’s sooner than you may expect.

Revealed recently over on Twitter by the creator of Obra Dinn, Lucas Pope, the console release date was unveiled to be that of Friday, October 18. Along with the reveal of the release date, Pope also shared a new image stylized in the same manner as the art style of Return of the Obra Dinn. The picture shows the game running on all three console platforms in addition to containing the controllers of each as well.

I feel like a broken record at this point for continuing to say this, but if you haven’t already played Return of the Obra Dinn, then you cannot miss out on it any longer. While I didn’t get around to playing it before the end of 2018, it’s hands-down one of the best titles that originally released last year. In fact, I might go as far to say it’s my second favorite game of last year only behind God of War. It’s that good. Please play it.

And if you do end up playing it now that it’s coming to consoles, feel free to hit me up over on Twitter. I’d love to talk to you about it and hear what you think.
