In this character mural, artist Vinzound mashes up Smash Bros. and Nickelodeon’s The Loud House together with plenty of your favorites.
Ever since the days of the original, the joys of the Super Smash Bros. series has been the delight of seeing some of Nintendo’s (and gaming as a whole) most iconic characters duking it out with one another. Last December’s release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate quadrupled that with the series’ biggest roster to date, and in the hands of artist Vinzound, that crossover style managed to go even further by combining it with an unexpected source from a Nickelodeon animated series.
This character mural coming from artist Vinzound merges the worlds of Super Smash Bros. with the art style of Nickelodeon’s popular animated series The Loud House, and it manages to work surprisingly well in bringing these iconic characters to life.
While the mural doesn’t contain every character on the Ultimate roster — instead focusing on series’ newcomers, third party characters, and a few fan favorites — the art from Vinzound does also happen to contain the latest characters to join the fight as DLC characters. Notably that includes Persona 5‘s Joker (who joined the roster this past April) alongside the Hero characters from Dragon Quest and Banj0-Kazooie, who were all revealed to be joining the fight at E3 2019.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch, and you can pick up the game right now over at Amazon. For a closer look at Vinzound’s mash-up of Smash Bros. and The Loud House, you can check out the images below:
