Xbox March 2020 Games with Gold Includes Sonic Generations and More

Batman: The Enemy Within, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, and Sonic Generations are free with the Xbox March 2020 Games with Gold.

As February closes, the next month approaches bringing another grouping of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles. Yes, that does mean the Xbox March 2020 Games with Gold have just been announced.

March’s free Xbox One titles include Telltale’s Batman: The Enemy Within and Shantae: Half-Genie Hero; the free Xbox 360 games, which will be available to those who still play on an Xbox 360 or the Xbox One’s backward compatibility feature, includes Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 and Sonic Generations. Altogether, the lineup is a $94 value with up to 4100 points to add to your gamerscore. The trailer above gives you a decent look at every game available.

Here is when you can start claiming the Xbox March 2020 Games with Gold titles:

  • Batman: The Enemy Within — The Complete Season: Available March 1 to 31 on Xbox One
  • Shantae: Half-Genie Hero: Available March 16 to April 15 on Xbox One
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2: Available March 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
  • Sonic Generations: Available March 16 to 31 on Xbox One and Xbox 360

Some of these titles have been added at opportune times at the moment. With the recent first look of Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, and the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, these are great additions that will keep fans hyped. Even Netflix’s Castlevania series will be returning with its third season on March 5. In terms of timeliness, these Games with Gold are pretty great.

In order to claim your Xbox March 2020 Games with Gold, you will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Since Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes a Gold subscription, that is another viable way to get these games for free. Once you’ve subscribed, it’s as easy as visiting the game’s page on the Xbox marketplace and beginning the download.
